Who We Are

DOLAB Green Technologies Consulting (DOLAB GTC) is a multidisciplinary climate, innovation, and sustainability consulting firm dedicated to accelerating Africa’s transition toward climate-resilient, low-carbon, and inclusive development pathways. The company operates at the interface of renewable energy systems, circular agriculture, waste-to-value technologies, sustainable fuels, skills development, and green enterprise incubation.

DOLAB was founded through the long-standing professional collaboration of Prof. David Tinarwo and Mr Lawrence Monyahi. The company is currently owned by Lawrence Monyahi and Cynthia Mashaba, providing leadership in renewable energy technology deployment and agribusiness enterprise development.

Rooted in strong institutional partnerships—most notably with the University of Venda—DOLAB integrates cutting-edge renewable technologies with indigenous knowledge systems to produce solutions that are technically robust, culturally appropriate, financially viable, and scalable.

Innovation in Action

DOLAB is proud to serve as both an incubatee and pilot enterprise within the University of Venda’s entrepreneurship development programmes. This collaboration facilitates the deployment of living laboratories and demonstration sites that anchor theoretical research within real-world contexts.


Featured Project: Tiyani Secondary School

We implemented a pilot project integrating sustainable agriculture with waste-to-energy conversion, installing an 18 cubic metre biogas digester to supply energy for cooking and bio-slurry for the school garden.
